WHEN YOU DIE
The most important, and often least discussed, issue in human life is our life after death. When we pass from this life to the next the Bible declares that we either spend eternity in the presence of the Lord or forever separated from Him. (Hebrews 9:27; John 5:24) We believe that the most fundamental question people ponder is: What will happen when I die?
The problem for all of the human race is that we were born into sin. Every one of us, regardless of the amount of good we have done, have committed unrighteous sin against a holy God. (Romans 3:23) Our sin separates us from God. There is nothing we can do, no amount of good things, to make ourselves right with God. (Ephesians 2:8-9) Because of this, our consequence is death, or eternal separation from God. Hell, in other words. (Romans 6:23)
The Bible also declares that there is a solution to our dilemma. God’s gift to us is eternal life through Jesus Christ. (Romans 6:23) Jesus paid a price that we couldn’t pay; He gave His life at the cross as the final sacrifice for all sin for all time. When we put our trust in Jesus and ask Him to be our Lord and Savior, we are accepting the righteousness of Jesus and He is taking our sins. He paid the price for us. We just need to surrender to Him and be His disciple to receive the free gift. (Romans 10:9-10)
If you would like to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior we invite you to approach one of the ministry leaders after service and inform them of your decision. God bless you in your journey!
